How It Works
Zap and Roam connects two screens together for a magical shared experience. Here's how the flow works.
Color · Zap · Roam
Color
Choose a robot template and tap each region to pick a color. Give your robot a name — it's your custom creation!
Zap!
Tap the ZAP! button. Your robot beams down from a spaceship with a flash of light and a gentle landing on the world.
Roam
Your robot comes alive on the stage. It idles with a gentle bounce, wanders around, jumps, and waves at other robots.
Two screens, one adventure
This is where the magic happens. One device acts as the stage (a TV or laptop), and other devices connect to it to draw and launch robots.
Open a world on your TV or laptop. A 4-letter session code appears on screen.
On a tablet or phone, enter the same 4-letter code. You're now connected to the stage.
Color your robot, give it a name, and tap ZAP!. It appears instantly on the big screen.
The robot lands on the stage and starts exploring. Multiple kids can join and fill the world with robots.
One device, full experience
If you only have one device, no problem. Solo mode lets you color and see the stage on the same screen — perfect for quick play or testing.
