Privacy
We believe privacy is a fundamental right — especially for kids.
What this covers
This notice describes how Zap and Roam handles information when you use the app. We are committed to keeping your data private and secure.
Information we collect
We collect no personal information. Zap and Roam does not require accounts, logins, or email addresses. No names, no birthdates, no location data, no device identifiers are collected or stored.
Session data
When you create a stage session, a temporary 4-letter session code is generated. Robot color data (the colors chosen for each body region, a display name, and a timestamp) is stored in the server's memory for the duration of the session only. This data is automatically deleted when the session ends or the server restarts.
Session data is never written to disk, shared with third parties, or used for analytics or advertising.
Cookies and tracking
Zap and Roam does not use cookies, tracking pixels, analytics scripts, or any form of behavioral tracking.
Third-party services
The web version of Zap and Roam runs entirely in your browser and communicates only with the server you choose to connect to. We do not embed third-party services, SDKs, or content delivery networks that collect data.
Children's privacy
Zap and Roam is designed for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under the applicable age in your jurisdiction). Because our app requires no accounts and collects no personal data, there is no personal information to collect, store, or share.
If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes to this notice
We may update this privacy notice from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.
